Scott Wood, President
Mr. Wood has worked in community corrections since 1978. He has served in every capacity from line staff to Program Director. Since 1984 he has been the Chief Executive Officer of our correctional corporation and Chairman of the Board of Directors. His knowledge of legal, programmatic, and fiscal issues in community corrections has kept CMI on the forefront of our industry.
.Jim Tanner, Ph.D., Vice President of Research & Design
Dr. Tanner has over three decades of experience in applied community corrections. He has designed, implemented, administered, and evaluated numerous community corrections programs. His experience includes being a supervising probation officer, directing local government’s community corrections services, directing residential and detention facilities (both juvenile and adult), and conducting nationally recognized training and consultation. Dr. Tanner has served on the faculties of two universities teaching a wide range of criminal justice and social psychology courses at both the graduate and undergraduate level. He is the author of the cognitive restructuring program (Quick Skills) and the SSOTR sex offender management tool. Quick Skills is the foundation of CMI’s programming and has been adopted by several states, including Colorado, for use in their facilities and aftercare programs. The SSOTR is a mandatory tool in use within Colorado Judicial Districts and is utilized as an adjunct tool in numerous other states. Both Quick Skills and the SSOTR are in use internationally.
Mike Koob, Vice President of Operations
Mr. Koob has has been working in community corrections since 1988. He has served in many capacities at CMI, working as line staff, Case Manager, Program Director, and Assistant Director of Operations. Mr. Koob has served as part of the CMI administrative team since 1993.
Gregg Hendrickson, M.S., Vice President of Training and Development
Mr. Hendrickson has been working in community corrections since 1987. He is a trained program auditor who has experienced all aspects of community corrections from security to program planning. Mr. Hendrickson is certified as a trainer in three nationally recognized correctional technologies. He developed and teaches courses for professional staff that are used by many of the community corrections agencies in Colorado to train their employees.
Anne Hauswald, Client Placement Director
Ms. Hauswald has worked in law enforcement and corrections since 1975 She has worked as a Deputy in the Boulder County Jail, supervised the Boulder County Sheriff's Department Work Release Program, and has been a Program Director with CMI.
