JOB DESCRIPTION
Program Director
Reports To: Executive Director
Duties:
1. Enforce and ensure compliance with State Standards and CMI policy and procedures, and
personnel manuals of CMI.
2. Supervise staff.
3. Assist the Executive Director in conducting and supervising staff training.
4. Works under supervision of the Executive Director as a community, court and department
liaison.
5. Develop and supervises security and safety operations for the facility.
6. Review and approve all staff scheduling.
7. Conduct dispositions and hearings on rules and policy violations, and writs.
8. Handle all staff grievances.
9. Maintain direct involvement in setting up program plans with Case Managers as well as
adherence to the program.
10. Responsible for hiring, progressive discipline, and termination of employees.
11. Directly responsible for staff evaluations done by supervisors. Must approve and ensure
they are done in a timely fashion.
12. Act as staff to program Advisory Board.
13. Assist the Executive Director in preparations for audits of the program.
14. Prepare and submit a monthly report to the Executive Director.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice or related Social Service field; must have five years experience working in Community Corrections. May substitute experience for the degree on a year for year basis.
Salary: $40,000 - 60,000
