Community Corrections Technician I (CCT-I)

Reports To: Community Corrections Technician III.

Responsibilities:

    1.     Conduct new resident orientation.
    2.     Supervise the physical care and cleaning of the facility.
    3.     Maintain accurate, up to date reports of the residents’ behavior during the shift.
    4.     Monitor urine samples, antabuse, and other medications.
    5.    
    Must be able to remain flexible and objective in dealing with a variety of situations and
            be capable of handling crisis situations in a calm and reasonable manner.
    6.    
    Responsible for monitoring residents’ activities during the shift under your supervision
            in conjunction with the Program Director and or Program Coordinator.
    7.    
    Must possess ability to follow orders form counseling and administrative staff quickly
            and efficiently.
    8.   
    Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

    High School diploma or GED.  Experience in corrections, law enforcement or security is desired.  Must become certified in First Aid and CPR (offered through CMI).

Salary:  $11.00-$14.00/hour after completion of training.
